Johnny Grant Speaks at Estate Planning Seminar Hosted By The Idlewild Foundation
Johnny Grant Featured as Speaker
The Idlewild Foundation hosted a comprehensive Estate Planning Seminar today that was open to the public. Held at Idlewild Baptist Church, the seminar covered Intestate Succession, Last Will and Testaments, effectively and efficiently using Trusts, Probate, and Guardianship and was attended by over 200 people. Johnny Grant spoke on "Changes in Wills Due to Changes in Life", which emphasized the need for people to keep their estate plans current. In addition to Johnny Grant, others who spoke at the seminar were attorneys Gregory Gay, Adria Beenhakker Dickey and Brenda McCollum, along with Pieter Dearolf, the Chariman of The Idlewild Foundation and founding partner of the CPA firm of Dearolf and Mereness.
A question and answer session was part of the seminar and Johnny Grant and the other speakers were joined by Attorney James Hines, Sr. and Byron Smith of the full service CPA firm of Gregory, Sharer and Stuart to answer questions from the audience. The event was moderated Rob Taylor, a former NFL player with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and partner with the financial planning firm of Taylor & Williams. Rob Taylor is currently the Pastor of Stewardship at Idlewild Baptist Church. The Idlewild Foundation is planning another event in the fall of 2010 and has again asked Johnny Grant to be a featured speaker.
